He has developed several creative course initiatives. He has served as a member of three Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs): (1) Technology-Enhanced Learning, (2) Inquiry-Based Learning, and (3) Assessment Technologies and Strategies.\u00a0 He has served as a co-chair for the FLC related to Inquiry-based Learning. He has served as a reviewer for several IEEE conferences on education. He is currently enrolled in the E-learning program at FAU. Dr. T. has provided service to the Civil, Environmental, and Geomatics Engineering Department in curriculum development, development of new courses, lab manuals and electives for undergraduate students, ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) documentation, Ph.D. proposal development, senior design course lectures and mentoring of students and guidance in Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and developed career guidance presentations.\u00a0 He has worked as an FAU ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) Chapter Faculty Adviser in the department for two years.\u00a0 He has taught a the IAHR Europespecial course (<a href=\"http:\/\/(https:\/\/didattica.polito.it\/pls\/portal30\/sviluppo.guide.visualizza?p_cod_ins=01RJTRW&amp;p_a_acc=2016)\">Spatial analysis for water resources modeling and management<\/a> (didattica di eccellenza)) at Politecnico Di Torino, Italy.\u00a0 He has recently taught a workshop on Machine Learning for Hydrological Modeling at IAHR Europe 2024, conference in Lisbon. He has worked as a teaching assistant for several courses and taught courses as a visiting assistant professor, adjunct faculty, and lecturer. (ii) Designing Aligned Assessments and Assignments. (iii) Aligning Learning Experiences with Course Objectives. (iv) Developing and Using Rubrics and Checklists. (v) Developing Fair, Consistent, and Transparent Grading. (vi) Preparing an Effective Syllabus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Promoting Active Learning Online Course<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(i) Developing Effective Modules and Microlectures. (ii) Teaching Powerful Note-Taking online. (iii) Using Groups to Ensure Active Online Learning.<\/li>\n<li>(iv) Using Active Learning Cycle in Online Courses. (v) Planning Effective Online Discussion.
