Over the past decades, developments in sensing technology and wireless communication have provided cities and communities with increasingly-important sensor data to create more reliable and livable urban environments. The core of our research specializes in the development of state-of-the-art data analytics approaches and modeling tools based on network-level urban environment sensing data for civil infrastructure condition monitoring applications. The ultimate goal of my research is to use network-level sensor data to inform better design and infrastructure planning decision-making systems, such as structural condition assessments, pavement management systems, and road traffic safety.
