Dr. T. has taught more than 3000 students in several undergraduate, graduate, and special courses, special class lectures, guest lectures on special topics in several schools:

He has worked as a teaching assistant for several courses and taught courses as a visiting assistant professor, adjunct faculty, and lecturer. He has developed several creative course initiatives. He has served as a member of three Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs): (1) Technology-Enhanced Learning; (2) Inquiry-Based Learning and (3) Assessment Technologies and Strategies.  He has served as a co-chair for the FLC related to Inquiry-based Learning. He has served as a reviewer for several IEEE conferences on education. He is currently enrolled in the E-learning program at FAU. Dr. T. has provided service to the Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering department in curriculum development, development of new courses, lab manuals and electives for undergraduate students, ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) documentation, Ph.D. proposal development, senior design course lectures and mentoring of students and guidance in Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and developed career guidance presentations.  He has worked as an FAU ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) Chapter Faculty Adviser in the department for two years.  He has taught special course (Spatial analysis for water resources modeling and management (didattica di eccellenza)) at Politecnico Di Torino, Italy. He has worked as teaching assistant for several courses and taught courses as a visiting assistant professor, adjunct faculty and lecturer. He has developed several creative course initiatives.
